Class of 2013! Welcome to Stanford! And to the upperclassmen, welcome back! Thanks for checking out the SVSA website. Make sure to check back often because we'll be using this site for announcements. I'm also sorry for posting so late. Anyways, here's what's going down for the next few weeks.

1. Frosh Intern Applications- Thank you to those who have already contacted me for information about Frosh Intern positions in SVSA. Please note, even though we have the title FROSH Intern, these positions are open to all Stanford students. Being a Frosh Intern with SVSA gives you the chance to take part in Core meetings where a lot of the planning takes place for all of the SVSA events that happen throughout the year. You will have the opportunity to help with the current committees as well as suggest new events. We're always open to new events! I'm currently having problems uploading the application online, but for now, email ctran88@stanford.edu,  and she will send you the applicaiton. The deadline for this application is 11:59 PM on October 9th, 2009.

2. First General Meeting- Our first general meeting is scheduled for October 2, 8PM- 9PM @ The A3C in the couchroom. Come find out what SVSA is all about. Also! ....free food. =]

3. Activities Fair- Come check out the student groups Stanford has to offer. Activities Fair i scheduled for Friday, September 25, 12 PM- 4 PM. We'll be there! Come meet some of the current SVSA members. If you have any questions, this is a great questions to ask them.

4. We Are Family- This is an event held by the Asian American New Student Orientation Committee. It's taking place Saturday, September 26, 2 PM- 4 PM @ Old Union Courtyard. Again, we'll be there! Come find us!
